A boat made of people

Afloat is a daily show about one boat. Every subscriber is a passenger. More passengers means a bigger boat.

01

Subscribe and you are on board

When enough people come aboard, the boat grows. A raft becomes a skiff, a ferry, a cruise ship.

02

Likes move the boat

Each day the boat can reach the next three ports. Every like adds miles on top. No likes means the engine is off and she stays in port.

03

You pick where she goes

Every episode ends with a vote. Write the letter of your pick in the comments. The winner decides the next day.

Some votes are about what happens on board. Those are a gamble. They can work, or go wrong.

04

One day, one episode

Each episode shows where the boat is, who came aboard, how far she can sail, and the vote.

05

The record

The boat earns badges: her first trip, 100 miles, a new sea, a bigger boat. They stay on the ship for good.
